The Wonder Boys golf team had another great weekend in Muskogee, Oklahoma for the NSU Golf Classic. The team finished in a tie for second with a score of 846 six under par for the weekend.
Tech had two golfers finish in the top 10 on the individual leaderboard. League City, TX native Francois Jacobs won his first ever tournament as a Wonder Boy, shooting a weekend low 12 under 201 and finished three strokes in front second place.
Along with Jacobs Taipei, Taiwan native Shawn Tsai finished in a tie for sixth, shooting five under par 208. Only seven strokes behind his teammate Jacobs.
The next competition for the Wonder Boys is the Central Region Preview in Hot Springs on September 30 through October 2.
