The Arkansas Tech Women’s Basketball team is coming off a 2023 season that saw a 12-10 conference record, good enough for fourth place during the regular season and conference tournament berth. Replacing the production of unanimous All-GAC First Team selection Jalei Oglesby and All-GAC Honorable Mention pick Kaley Shipman will be a priority for the club as they attempt to make another run at the postseason. However, Head Coach Dave Wilbers is confident that his team will be up to the task saying, “It’s been an exciting time for our basketball team and for our program,” at the recent 2023 GAC Media Day. The Golden Suns will begin their 2023-2024 season at home against Champion Christian on Nov. 11 at 7 p.m.
