Monday Madness began when the players entered the court at 6 p.m. and gave a preview of a warm-up that they would do in a regular game. After they warmed up, both teams headed to the bench.

The Golden Suns were introduced first after a speech from head coach Dave Wilbers, who excited the crowd about the upcoming season.

Next the Wonder Boys were introduced followed with their new head coach, Chad Kline. Kline transitioned from assistant coach to head coach and said he was very excited for the season to begin.

Next, there was a 3-point contest that involved three Golden Suns players versus three Wonder Boys players. The players that took part in the contest were Danielle Frachiseur, Fabiana Monte, Anissa Pounds, Mike Balogun, Tyler Friedel and Deonata Jethroe. The contestants were only allowed five shots around the 3-point line. The Golden Suns were the successors, winning 9-4.
