If you ask me, last week in TV was just as exciting as the week before. This week ABC premiered “Selfie,” NBC premiered “A-Z,” and FOX premiered “Mulaney.”
“Selfie” was created by Emily Kapnek, who was also the creator of recently canceled “Suburgatory. “Selfie” premiered on Sept. 30 on ABC and is the story of a woman in her 20s named Eliza Dooley (Karen Gillan) who, after a viral mishap, decides she needs to change her image.
“A-Z” premiered Oct. 2 on NBC. It’s a story about Zelda (Cristin Milioti) and Andrew (Ben Feldman) and their relationship. It’s a countdown from the day they meet to the day their relationship ends. Rashida Jones (Parks and Rec) is an executive producer of the show.
“Mulaney,” staring former Saturday Night Live writer John Mulaney, tells the story of John Mulaney, a comedian living in New York City. “Mulaney” premiered Sunday FOX. The cast also includes Martin Short, Elliot Gould and Nasim Pedrad.
There are still plenty of new shows to premiere this fall including “Marry Me,” which will star Casey Wilson. It will premiere on Tuesday at 8 p.m. on NBC. CBS will premier “The McCarthy’s,” which will star New Kids on the Block’s Joey McIntyre on Oct. 30 at 8:30 p.m.
