The Arkansas Tech Golden Suns finished sixth at the UIndy Invitational in Carmel, Indiana, last Tuesday. The UIndy Invitational was made up of 15 teams, featuring universities from Arkansas, Indiana, Oklahoma, Texas and more.
Peerada Piddon, from Bangkluay, Thailand, led the Golden Suns, finishing eighth with a score of 149 (5). Following Piddon was Pia Nunbhakdi, from Bangkok, Thailand, who shot 153 (9), good enough to place her in twenty-second.
A couple of Golden Suns were good enough to place in the thirties, including Avery Struck, from Halfmoon Bay, British Columbia, who finished thirty-second, shooting 155 (11) and Holly Stranding, who finished thirty-fifth, shooting 156 (12).
Rounding out the Golden Suns are Makenzie Douglas, from Clarksville, who shot 164 (20), finishing fifty-eighth and Allie Weiner, from Maumelle, who finished seventy-eighth, shooting 176 (32).
Next up, the Golden Suns will travel to Goodyear, Arizona, to partake in the WNMU Fall Intercollegiate, which takes place on Monday and Tuesday.
