RICCI LOGAN/THE ARKA TECH The Golden Suns, 24-0 and 9-0 in Great American Conference play will take on the Lady Bison, 13-9 and 8-1.

The Golden Suns volleyball team will look to continue their streak going into Friday as they take on the Southwestern Oklahoma Lady Bulldogs at Tucker Coliseum at 6 p.m. The Golden Suns have moved to 20-0 as they continue their best start to a season in Tech history.

16th Golden Suns, 20-0 and 7-0 in Great American Conference play, will take on the Lady Bulldogs, 8-13 and 5-2 in GAC play. The Golden Suns still sit at the top of the GAC; while the Lady Bulldogs are sitting in 4th.

Last weekend, the Golden Suns continued their dominant play as they defeated the East Central Lady Tigers, 3-0, and the Southeastern Oklahoma Savage Storm, 3-1.

Allie Anderson, from Bryant, led the Golden Suns with 13 kills; Lexie Johnston, from Nixa, Missouri, followed with 12. Amanda Milnick, from Tahlequah, Oklahoma, earned her eighth double-double on the season with 33 assists and 11 digs. Madison Nagel, from Rowlett, Texas, earned a match high of 22 digs as she continues to hold the most digs in a career as a Golden Sun.

The Golden Suns won their 20th straight match against the Savage Storm as they creep closer to the longest win streak in Golden Suns history of 26 straight wins. Tabitha Spray, from Denton, Texas, led the team with 15 kills, following her was Johnston with 14 kills. Milnick had eight kills with no attack error giving her a team high .667 attack percentage on the night. Milnick also earned a season high with 47 assists. Nagel led the defense effort with 20 digs.
